Rick will hold a masterclass from 3 – 6 PM in our Wake Forest location on Sunday, March 3, 2013. Seating is

Rhythm & Music Classes For 2 – 5 Year Olds

Starting Thursday, October 25th (4:30-5:30pm) Only $60 per month!
Young Drums is a preschool music class where students learn basic music skills while singing, dancing, and playing a variety of rhythm instruments.
Parents are encouraged to participate with their child in these educational classes. Each session contains developmentally appropriate activities that not only teach basic rhythmic phrases and an understanding of general music awareness, but they are a lot of FUN!
Plan to arrive 5 minutes early for each class to fill out name tags and greet the children and parents.

Group Guitar & Back To School Music Lessons

It’s back to school time and now is the time to register for our group guitar and piano classes at any of our Raleigh/Durham, NC locations. Focusing on the mechanics and theory of playing the instrument, our group classes are only $15 per hour and meet weekly with pur professional teachers to take you through notation studies, songs, music mechanics, ear training, sight reading, proper playing techniques and so much more.
With small classes and a laid back atmosphere these are great for the beginning musician.
Now registering for these class dates and time:
Fridays, starting October 26th from 6:00 – 7:00 PM in our Raleigh (Brier Creek) location.
Thursdays, starting November 15th from 6:15 – 7:15 in our Wake Forest location.
We’re A Top 100!!

The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) announced that Progressive Music Center has been selected as a Top 100 Dealer. The award will be presented to the top music merchants from across the country at the organization’s annual summer music product trade show, Summer NAMM, held in Nashville, Tenn. Progressive Music Center is also in the running to receive NAMM’s Dealer of the Year award at the July 13, 2012, presentation ceremony.
Music product retailers were judged using a numeric rating by a panel of impartial expert judges selected by, but not otherwise affiliated with NAMM. Progressive Music Center received this recognition because they:
- Show a clear understanding that the success of a retail store is directly related to customer satisfaction
- Provide a retail experience worth returning for and recommending others to
- Prepare for future success with sound planning, marketing and training initiatives
- Use the web and social media in engaging, effective ways
In addition to Dealer of the Year, Progressive Music Center is also in the running for best curb appeal, best ad, best merchandising and display, best use of social media, best sales promotion, best website and the SupportMusic Local Advocacy and Wanna Play “Music Makes a Difference” awards.
