Rock Academy Performance 2010

Progressive Music Center’s Rock Academy™ program is based on our wildly popular summer camp program, but unlike the week long summer camps, Rock Academy™ bands meet weekly for rehearsals and perform shows throughout the year.

Started in 1996 as a way for our students to find others with the same musical interestes and performance desires, our bands have now performed over 100 concerts in front of thousands of people at events such as Artsplosure, Wake Forest’s Meet In The Street and Good Neighbor Day, The Carolina Mudcats Stadium and well known venues such the Lincoln Theatre.

Each Rock Academy™ band will be assigned a professional band coach who will help you achieve your goals as a band through weekly one hour rehearsals at our studios. Once your band is rehearsed and ready to perform we will host your band through regular showcases on our professional in-house stages and at other events in the area. Rock Academy™ applies what you are learning on your instrument in your weekly lessons and gives you the ability to make music with others your age and with similar interests.

The cost for Rock Academy™ is minimal!
