Camp Roundup
Jul 23rd
We’ve been so busy with our summer that we have not had any time for regular updates! Our third summer session of MusicTech is coming to a close this week with a Friday Finale Concert tomorrow night (24 July, 2009). The past two weeks have been our first ever double week sessions where we see the same groups for 2 weeks with one big finale concert at the end of the second week.
We were not sure what to expect from a two week long camp session since we have always held our sessions on a weekly basis, but have found that it’s been a relaxed, fun experience. The bands have been able to take their time writing some really great music, recording the songs and getting to know our staff and each other over the last two weeks.
This has been an incredible summer for us! All of our summer sessions sold out and we moved into our new Brier Creek location at TW Alexander and Frankies Fun Park. I don’t think we could have had a better summer!
If you are in town tomorrow night, please come out and support the band at 7PM in our Wake Forest location. These are great musicians with a lot of talent!
