No mosquitoes, no canoes, no bad food or letters home
Just good music and lots of fun! That’s right, it’s time again for the BEST summer camp you will ever attend – Progressive Music Center’s 13th year of the ‘Original School of Rock’ Summer Camps returns!!!
This year we’re adding new courses, like “Communication Breakdown – How to Work & Communicate with Your Band On Stage”, plus we’re “retiring” some songs that have simply been played to death and adding new material that needs to be played!

Progressive is working on a new website that will offer updated features, such as online lessons and video clips of student performances, camps and other events at Progressive.
The current website has been great, but the time has come to add some essential features and move forward with a fresh new look. With the addition of Progressive locations in Fairfax, VA and other locations coming online the new site will offer a one-stop destination for all Progressive locations.
Look for the new site in late May.
Exit: Sadly, Progressive Music Center says goodbye to long time drum/percussion instructor Scott Bachman in May. Scott, his wife Teresa and their son Jack are leaving North Carolina headed back to Scott’s home turf of Brunswick, GA.
Also moving on is drum instructor Ryan Ross, who will be moving to New Jersey in May with his new wife, Kelly. Good luck to both Scott and Ryan, both will be missed greatly!
In: New to the Progressive line-up are guitar instructors Anthony Clayborne, Matt Brechbiel and Chris Bodall. Piano instructors Nikki McNeil and Rick Zayas round out our new additions to our teaching staff. Please stop in and say hello to these talented individuals.
